Bartender course on Kos

Big city or resort, EBS uses the same course plan and teaching methods no matter what the location is. Our focus is on quality and we educate future bartenders of world class. No matter where you choose to study, the conditions are the same.

Our newly renovated bartender center is 2 500 square meter big, and located in the centre of Kos city, all in a short distance to entertainment and nightlife. The beach is about 20 meters away and spread around the bartender center there is green cooling trees that give us the shadow that is much needed.

There are six main bars, with 48 fully equipped bar stations where the students get a realistic idea and training in bartending. The focus is on practical training and in the end of the course you get to mix about 80 drinks per day. All the theoretical training is held outdoors, but of course in the shade where we are protected from the hot sun. The flairing lessons are at some points held at the beach, so that you can enjoy the wonderful weather at the same time as you get a bit of an audience for your tricks.

In the middle of the town centre there is a relaxation centre with a cooling swimming pool, sun lounges and a comfortable seating arrangement. Here you can relax during your break or just hang out with your friends after a hard days work.

At evenings and weekends the school turns into Island Sushi & Cocktails, a lounge bar that serves innovative cocktails and fresh sushi. Next to the lounge you have the Island Club, a nightclub that plays the latest music and is often hosted by famous skandinavian DJ´s and bartenders.

A lot of the arrangements we make for our student are held here, so that they can get to know each other and make the solidarity strong. Of course as a student you get beneficial prices in the bar.

The education lasts four weeks, and there are lessons Monday until Friday, about five hours per day. And the day starts at nine o´clock in the morning.

EBS have been located on for Kos several years and is well known on the entire island, which gives you as a student advantages, such as good prices in most of the towns bars and restaurants.
