Six amazingly green cocktails ready for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and in true Irish style the EBS team are here to help you make that Paddy’s Party Perfect! Have a go at some of these awesome St.Patrick’s inspired cocktails and let us know if you try out a green masterpiece for the occasion using #EuropeanBartenderSchool

1. Tokyo Iced Tea

St. Patrick meet Tokyo, Tokyo meet St Patrick, now go out and play! The Tokyo Iced Tea echoes the infamous Long Island Ice Tea but shakes things up a little to give the cocktail more of a citrus, refreshing edge.

  • High Ball glass
  • Cubed Ice
    • 12.5 cl – Vodka
    • 12.5cl – Gin
    • 12.5cl – White Rum
    • 12.5cl – Midori
    • 12.5cl – Tequila
    • 12.5cl – Sugar Syrup
    • 25cl – Fresh lemon juice
    • Lemonade to the top
    • Lemon wedge and glacier cherry garnish

2. Midori Sour

  • Cubed Ice
    • 4cl – Midori
    • 6cl – Sweet and sour mix
    • 2 dashes – Angostura bitters
    • Lemon wedge

3. June Bug

Take St. Patrick to a tropical island to celebrate, well not physically but the June Bug will certainly take you there mentally.

    • 2cl – Midori/ De Kuyper Melon
    • 1cl – Malibu
    • 1cl – De kuyper Banana
    • 4cl – Sweet and sour mix
    • 6cl – Pineapple juice

4. Apple Martini

An icy cold martini that is strong enough to warm many a heart on St.Patrick’s, no matter how cold it is outside. For those of you celebrating the evening in style then the Apple Martini is definitely for you.

  • No Ice
    • 4cl – Vodka or Gin
    • 2cl – De kuyper Apple
    • 3cl – Fresh lemon juice
    • 1cl – Sugar syrup
    • Apple leaf garnish

5. The Kermit

The hint is in the name and this cocktail is about as green as they come. You’ll definitely catch a few eyes and turn a few heads with this in your hand; a luminous shade to your lucky four leaf clover.

  • Cubed Ice
    • 2cl – Vodka
    • 2cl -Pisang Ambon Liqueur
    • 1 dash Sour Mix
    • Lemon & Lime (Sprite or 7-Up) to the
    • top of the glass
    • Garnish: Lime Wheel
    • Sprig of mint (optional)

6. Angostura Passion

This tangy tropical twist will send you straight backto primary school and your art colour chart classes. What does blue and yellow make class? GREEN! This cocktail is best made in a jug but be warned: This extravagant cocktail needs a garnish to match!

  • Cubed Ice
  • Collins Glass
    • 5cl – Vodka
    • 5cl – Malibu Coconut Rum (coconut rum)
    • 2cl – Blue Curacao
    • 3-4 dashes Angostura Bitters
    • 15cl – Pineapple Juice
    • 2cl – Lime Juice
    • Garnish: Red Maraschino Cherry, Pineapple Spear, Orange Twist (We could go on!)
