Bartender of year 2008 decided!

We proudly congratulate our head teacher and colleague Johannes Kinch to the title Bartender of the Year 2008. He won the Flair branch, which is about to give judges and the audience the best show with the help of bottles, glasses and of course, charisma.

It has almost become a tradition for Johannes to win the contest. With three winnings in the senior class and one of the junior class, he may without a doubt call himself one of Sweden's best bartenders.

- It just gets more fun every year, but competition also gets tougher, he says.

Fredrik Lindfors from the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, took home the victory in the classic style where you compete in elegance and style.

- It feels great, awesome, said the 21-year-old to GT and continues: - You go up against colleagues with many years of working experience, who also has lots of competition experience, so this is great fun.

Frederick and Johannes will now represent Sweden in the World Cup that is held in Puerto Rico during October. (Text taken from GT)
