Grand Slam for EBS in SM of flair!

European Bartending School really won the grand slam in SBG's cocktail contest, this year's bartender 2009. Johannes Kinch (teacher) came in first place in the senior class for the 5th consecutive year and Ludvig Eriksson (student) came in second place in junior class.
Lisa Bergstrom, who also is an old student from EBS, won the junior class. Lisa attended Bartending School at Kos in 2007 and was asked that year to attend as a contestant together with the Swedish Bartender Guild in an international contest for girls only in Stuttgart, Germany.
At the time she was asked, she only had the basic knowledge about flairing. But after much training and with the help of Johannes Kinch, she finally got together a program to attend with. She ended up in 4th place.
After the competition in Stuttgart, she was invited to appear in a show at the final of the Bartender of the year competition, held at “the garden” in Gothenburg.
Lisa will continue to compete and there is no doubt she will shortly belong to the elite of women's world flair.
Nowadays we can proudly present Lisa as one of our teachers at EBS school in Phuket, Thailand.
