Johannes started to work as a bartender in 2001, at the pub Engelen and Kolingen nightclub in the Old Town in Stockholm. The following year he joined the famous restaurant Tantra in Stockholm while he took the EBS teaching program. In the winter of 2002 he began working as a teaching assistant at EBS and the summer he spent working for EBS in Kos.
As a graduated teacher 2002-2003, he held lessons himself, this time with assistants helping him. During the time he also worked at the Nordic Light Hotel and Nordic Sea Hotel as a barmanager.
John joined the SBG 2003 and started racing. He is now head teacher of the EBS in Greece. While he works as a bartender at Stockholm Kitchen Bar o.
He 2004 he competed for the first time - TGI Friday's Flair Open Competition - and won. The same year he landed on a 3rd place in Mr. JJs Flair Competition in Bergen, Norway. The following year he became a Swedish junior champion in Flair.
In 2006 he became the Swedish champion and later on that year he won the title Nordic champion in the Havana Club Grand Prix Flair. At the World Championships in Athens, Greece, he went on a 3rd place.
He worked at Café Opera in Stockholm in 2007, before his appointment as manager at the new nightclub Fellows at Stureplan. Again he became Swedish champion in flair and at the World Championships in Taiwan, he went to the final. Johannes participates in two competitions during the year. In Mr. JJs Flair Competition he landed in 2nd place and the Skyy Vodka Flair Global Challenge Copenhagen in 2007 he became a finalist.
In 2008 he became the the swedish champion in flair, for the third consecutive year. He bought himself a first place at TGI Friday's 10th anniversary Flair Competition in Oslo. November 2008 he takes a third place in the World Championships in Puerto Rico
