These are some of the typical activities our students enjoy outside course hours. Note that most of them are NOT included in the course price as we try to keep costs as low as possible for our students.
The ski jumping hill located at Holmenkollen is one of the tings you can visit during your time in Oslo.
The Royal Castle
This is the permanent residence of the Norwegian King Harald V.Located at the top of Karl Johans Gate. Check it out and you might catch a glimpse of him or the Queen.
The Opera house
A futuristic designed building and a local hangout during the spring and summer months. Pack some lunch and have a nice time hanging out with your friends.
The Munch Museum
The world famous painting The Scream was painted by the artist Edvard Munch in 1893. A visit here is a must.
The Kon Tiki Museum
Kon-Tiki was the raft used by Norwegian explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl in his 1947 expedition across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands. It was named after the Inca sun god.
Do you like shopping and food? Then you have to visit Aker Brygge. A popular tourist attraction by the sea. A large number of bars, restaurants, out door patios and shops in beautiful surroundings.
Oslo has a large downhill long board scene with many hills to cruise down from. If you would like to compete during your time in Oslo, local comps are organised regularly.
Do like downhill skiing or snowboarding? Then al you have to do is to take the underground train and it will take you to a big area with downhill slopes, rails, big jumps, half pipe, cross country skiing tracks and more.
Oslo Parks and hangouts
Sofienbergsparken, Slottsparken, Vigelandsparken are just a few of the local hangouts in central Oslo. Chill out, have a BBQ, practice some flair or study up on your drinks in the sun with you friends.
