How do I get to the school?

The easiest way to reach the school is to take a taxi from the airport. It will cost max. 650 baht (approximately 17EUR). Keep an eye out for other students who you can drive together with.

Can I stay on in Thailand after the course?

Classes finish on Thursday of week 4 if you have completed the course and graduated. Friday is an extra day for re-tests etc. Check out is noon on Friday. If you choose to enjoy some more time in Thailand, accommodation at the school is available after the course with extra payment based on vacancies – not always available. For former EBS students the rate is approximately 300THB (7EUR) per night for a shared room.

Does the school have a gym?

Phuket has several different fitness and training centres.  You will have plenty of opportunities for working out, running, swimming or even having a go at Thai boxing.

Do I need travel insurance?

EBS strongly recommends that you take out personal travel insurance, any medical expenses or hospital visits will be your responsibility – you will be charged directly unless you take out an insurance policy that covers medical expenses. It is your own responsibility to obtain an appropriate travel insurance policy. EBS will not be able to assist if you have not purchased the right kind of insuranceThe correct type of insurance policy is: Education or Business Abroad insurance – regular travel insurance will not be adequate.

Do I need a VISA?

You will need a tourist visa to travel to Thailand. You can apply for one before you leave or you can fill out the tourist visa on the flight on the way to Thailand. The visa gives you permission to stay in Thailand for 30 days. If you want to stay in Thailand for more than 30 days, then you need to apply for a visa. For the course at the EBS Phuket, the tourist visa is sufficient.
