f we told you that someone created a Mojito that’s 3,519 litres and measured 2.6 metres in height, you’d never believe us. It took 40 people just over an hour and a half to create this astonishing masterpiece. The question is, how long did it take them to drink it?

A round of applause goes to 4-Jack’s Bar and Bistro in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic who completed this exhaustive mission on 17th April this year. The owner, Joel Villalona, created the drink to thank his customers for their support and service.

At the scene was Evelyn Carrera, a Guinness World Records adjudicator, who verified that the Mojito broke new world records as the largest glass of Mojito ever created.

What do you need to make this enormous drink? It’s pretty simple, if you want to try and break the world record, all you’ll need is:

  • 700 litres of rum
  • 300 litres of lemon juice
  • 700 litres of soda
  • 227kg of sugar
  • 68kg of mint
  • 1,921kg of ice
