Why learn bartending in NYC?
New York City is a bartender’s playground. As an EBS New York student, you’ll get to experience this electrifying city from a truly unique angle: through old-school speakeasies, swanky rooftop bars, and experimental-sometimes-underground cocktail joints.
Soak up the nightlife, earn a world-class qualification, and build a professional network in New York’s buzzing bartending industry.
The EBS New York school
EBS New York is our flagship school. This spacious converted warehouse was specially designed for our bartender courses. We have 16 industry-standard bar stations,12 flair stations, and 32 free-pour stations. So get ready to spend your week crafting cocktails, mastering moves, and testing your instincts. And while off-duty, you can enjoy the breathtaking New York skyline from our landscaped terrace.
When you study at our New York school, you’ll be based in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We’re a 10-minute bike ride from the EBS apartments and 11 blocks from three different L-line subway stations, keeping you well connected to the rest of the city.

The Education Team
We take it upon ourselves to train our own trainers, ensuring that each instructor attends the rigorous EBS Instructor Academy in order to keep teaching standards high and teaching methods cohesive. When you take any EBS course, you can be certain that you’re learning the most up-to-date industry practices and receiving the highest quality education on the market.
The courses were conceived and are continually updated by the best bartenders in the industry - take Charlotte Voisey, our Board of Education member. After rising through the ranks of the hospitality industry and receiving countless awards, Charlotte moved out to the States where she is now Global Head of Ambassadors at William Grants & Sons. Find out more about Charlotte here.
