Course Content Overview
Where was the first form of a cocktail invented? Why are cocktails called that? Did these drinks ever represent more than a pleasurable refreshment? We'll trace the history of drinks from ancient times up until today and reveal how tastes and consumption have gone changing over time.
We'll start by analysing original punch recipes that date back to the 16th century.
Some recipes we'll cover are the Philadelphia Fish House Punch and the classic Milk Punch.
We'll teach you to prepare any product you could ever need to incorporate into a cocktail.
- Fat washes
and taste them, of course!

Find out what it takes to make a cocktail taste absolutely perfect. You’ll learn the different methods, techniques, and types of equipment required to make flawless drinks. You will practise: double shaking, double stirring, throwing, rolling, and more advanced techniques.
In these ten days, you will taste over 40 cocktails. Every family, every century - you'll try it. That's the only way to get an overarching view of as many flavour combinations as possible. Understanding what exists and how the ingredients pair together is crucial for later developing your own signature mixes.
