Six months of world-class bartending experience in just four weeks!
We designed the International Bartender Course to arm you with the most well-rounded skill set in the shortest possible time frame—without cutting corners.
Your four action-packed weeks cover every bartending discipline - from bar practice and spirit masterclasses to flair training and cocktail creation. Unlike other shorter courses, the intensive IBC lasts long enough to give you the equivalent of six months’ bar experience. That means becoming a fully qualified bartender, ready to work high-paying jobs at premium venues.
Four weeks is what it takes to accomplish this - any less won’t do the job. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to jump behind any bar, anywhere in the world, and look like you’ve been doing it for years.

What you will learn
We give you the tools, techniques, and drills needed to become a great bartender. As they say, “Practice makes perfect.” So there you’ll be, behind our fully equipped bar stations, making drinks whilst music plays and orders flow in from instructors and classmates. Training includes:
- Drink mixing

- Masterclasses
- Working, craft and exhibition flair

To make the perfect cocktail, you first need a solid understanding of the basics. So we’ll start with that. And you’ll drill them by preparing and memorizing over 65 cocktails, from Bloody Marys to Espresso Martinis. Then, you can try your hand at creating your own cocktails during our mixology workshops. And you better shake them well, as you’ll be entering into a lively cocktail competition.
There’s a lot more to bartending than pouring artfully. Ever heard of building, stirring, shaking, straining, rolling, layering, or muddling? You need to know which glasses pair with which drinks, as well as the different types of ice, shakers, and strainers used to prepare them.
Advise guests on the spirits that best suit their tastes by studying the history and flavoring techniques involved in the production of vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whisky and more. It’s all part of the process to make you a well-rounded bartender, and in turn, make you more money.
Mixing drinks is just one part of bartending. The profession requires a diverse skill set including social abilities, dexterity, showmanship, and not cracking under pressure! We’ll give you an overarching view of the career, what to expect on busy nights, and how you can stand out on a trial shift. You might just land the job then and there.
