Have fun getting to grips with all the fundamental bartending techniques like building, stirring, shaking, straining, rolling, layering and muddling. You’ll also become familiar with bar equipment including what glasses to use, different types of ice, shakers, strainers and more.
By the end of this training, cocktails will be your bread and butter. You’ll learn over 65 cocktail recipes, from the classics to the cutting-edge. And during the mixology workshops and the cocktail competition, you’ll even get the chance to design your own.
Forget everything you know about spirits – you’ll cover the history, production methods and uses for all kinds of spirits. So after the course, you can impress your customers (or just your mates) with your new, extensive knowledge.
Before you become a professional bartender, you have to learn all about alcohol laws. In this unit, we’ll cover age limits in different countries, units and measurements, responsible consumption and service techniques.
