Why should you choose Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is home to around 180 different nationalities, making it one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. This multiculturalism is what makes Amsterdam such a vibrant, unique, and amazing place to visit.

The Centrum area contains a lot of the city’s main historical and modern attractions. This is where you’ll visit the Rijksmuseum (get your photo with the “I Amsterdam” sign), take a canal boat tour, and go on the Heineken Experience.

The city is infamous for its wild nightlife; however, Amsterdam’s bartending scene is actually one of the most sophisticated in the world. There’s a heap of outstanding cocktail bars and speakeasies dotted around town, ask your EBS instructor for recommendations and you won’t go wrong.

Want to clear your head after a big night out? Jump on a bike and ride around the nearest park like an Amsterdammer! Amsterdam is the global city.

The Amsterdam school

The school is run by some of the Netherland’s best bartenders who are well connected within the city’s bar scene. One thing that EBS Amsterdam is famous for is its enormous collection of spirits. Their backbar is stocked with a huge variation of world-famous spirits, rare bottles, and niche brands.

The school is located near to the Holendrecht station which is just outside of the city centre. However, you can hop on a direct tram and reach the very heart of the city in around 20 minutes.
