It’s been a long time coming, with solid demands coming from Italian students who want to do our 4-week course in Italian and foreign students calling our EBS-care helpdesk to see whether it is possible to become EBS certified in Italy as well.

COURSE IN ENGLISH AND IN ITALIAN
Booking will be possible from April 12th, 2015. Apart from the standard English course, an Italian course for locals will be available as well. Both courses make sense for the inexperienced and bartending professionals who want to take the next step in their hospitality career and become EBS certified. The city offers a collection of high-end venues, and luxury brands like Armani or Bulgari have their own high-end hotels in the center. In terms of job opportunities, there are many bars and restaurants on the lookout for experienced and certified bartenders.
SOME FACTS ABOUT MILANO
Milan is the main industrial, commercial, and financial centre of Italy and a leading global city. Its business district hosts Italy’s main stock exchange and the headquarters of the largest national banks and companies. To outsiders, the city is a major world fashion and design capital. The local university offers an International Master in “Luxury Management”, and any self-respecting fashion brand has a flagship store somewhere in the city.
TYPICAL PRICING
Expect to pay EUR 15 for a meal in a lower-priced restaurant, and double that for a 3-course meal in a mid-priced restaurant. A soda will set you back about EUR 2.30 and a perfect cappuccino goes for EUR 1.40, beer isn’t the cheapest at EUR 5 for half a liter, but then we really urge you to try some of local Aperitivos. Venues are often extremely proud of these and they deserve your attention for sure.
