students practise flair juggling with the London shard in the background

Why should you choose London?

London is one of the world’s most vibrant, international, and iconic cities. It also happens to be a world-beater when it comes to bartending. It’s where many of the latest bartending trends are developed and also happens to contain more of the world’s best bars than any other city!

The list of things to do in London is literally endless. Quickly snap a few photos near the city’s most-famous landmarks before discovering districts like Camden, Soho, and Shoreditch; local markets like Brick Lane and Green; and beautiful parks like Hyde Park and St James’s Park. London is a place you can’t help but love.

London bartending school practice

The London School

Our exclusive venue ensures that you get too spend far more hands-on hours behind the bar than most other bartender schools in London, which mostly have to rent a nightclub or bar out of opening hours. Even though it’s not a bar, but a school, the atmosphere during the training is exactly like a real bar. This means that you get the real experience and education to prepare you, down to the smallest detail, for life behind the bar in London. Our bartender school is close to Tower Bridge and just five minutes’ walk from Bermondsey underground station.

Accommodation

During your time with us, you’ll stay in the Generator hostel located in central London, only a 10 minutes walk from King’s Cross station. With its style and design, this hostel perfectly captures London's cosmopolitan vibe.

In the area, you’ll find many bars, restaurants and shops, as well as the British Library, an ideal spot for studying all those cocktail recipes! You’ll also be just a 20 minutes walk to Soho, the nightlife centre of London.

And if you feel like exploring, King's Cross St Pancras station has connections travelling all over London and the rest of the UK, so ideal for new adventures or weekend getaways!

After-hours activities

How do front row seats at the Roadhouse Flair Competition sound? The best flair bartenders in the world reunite in the Roadhouse to show off their magical flair skills for you. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be amazed!

London is a gigantic city and so is its bartending scene, but don’t worry: we are here to guide you around and show you the best spots in town. On the first Friday of the course we’ll take you around a few bars in the West End so that you can get to know your EBS course mates and the city.

One day we might go for a picnic in Hyde Park, the next we might play beer pong in a local bar or go bowling together. These are things you don’t want to miss.

The EBS London complex hosts loads of exciting activities every month and has its own go kart track and climbing wall, all a stone’s throw away from class. Challenge your friends on the track and on the wall, who will be the champion?
