The EBS Employment Guarantee Terms and Conditions

The EBS Employment Guarantee was introduced on 5 February 2024 and can be applied to any International Bartender Course booking made within the Italian market after this date. The guarantee is available in conjunction with promotions.

The EBS Employment Guarantee entitles you to a refund on your International Bartender Course if you fail to find a position of work after sending a minimum of 60 applications in a total of 6 months. The job offer could be for any hospitality venue including a bar, pub, restaurant, or hotel. After 3 months and a minimum of 30 applications, if a graduate has yet to receive a job offer, EBS commits to offering job assistance to motivate graduates to submit at least 30 more applications.

A job application is only considered valid under the EBS Employment Guarantee if the graduate’s CV has been optimised to follow EBS guidelines provided upon graduation and has been sent with an accompanying cover letter. Simply clicking "apply" on various employment websites does not qualify as a legitimate application and will not count as 1 out of the required 60 applications to warrant a refund.  A graduate is regarded as officially hired when an employer has approved the graduate to work for a monetary value either full-time, part-time, casual, temporary, or seasonal or work.

The EBS Employment Guarantee is only available:
- With the 4-week International Bartender Course
- To the Italian market
- To graduates awarded a B grade or higher on their exams
- To graduates who missed no more than 2 days of attendance during their course.

If a graduate has selected to pay for the course through the EBS Pay Later payment plan, the graduate is not entitled to job assistance or a refund if an instalment is missed.

Graduates must:
- Have an updated LinkedIn profile
- Begin their job search within 30 days of graduating
- Screenshot the application submission notification on the relevant webpage as proof of application for EBS to verify

A graduate may request the refund after 6 months have passed if at least 60 applications have been sent. A graduate has a maximum of 9 months within which to submit the minimum of 60 applications. If a graduate has not submitted at least 60 applications after 9 months, the graduate is no longer entitled to the refund as there has been too great a day in submitting a sufficient number of applications.

If the graduate’s refund request is accepted and approved in line with the EBS Employment Guarantee conditions, the graduate will receive a refund equivalent to the cost of the course, excluding the amount for accommodation, insurances, and add-ons if also booked by the graduate. The refund will be issued via the card that made the original course payment and specific personal documents may be requested before effectuating this transfer.
