Stockholm is a beautiful, vibrant and stylish city with a budding cocktail culture. The city is spread across 14 islands and is connected by 57 bridges; this is why it’s commonly known as ‘the Venice of the North’. Head to the old town and you’ll fall in love with the quaint streets, gothic churches, beautiful buildings, innovative shops and the gigantic Royal Palace.

The Stockholm School
EBS Stockholm is Sweden’s largest and most modern bartender school. The school is located right in the centre of the city. The nearest metro station is Hötorget which allows you to move around very easily.
It’s just a 10-minute walk to the main shopping street in Stockholm, Drottninggatan. There are many cocktail bars and restaurants near the school, plus we have a fully equipped kitchen where you can make your own lunch!

Accommodation
During your time with EBS Stockholm, you’ll stay at Generator Hostel. Generator is ideally situated in the heart of Stockholm close to Central Station and the thriving district of Norrmalm-Vasastan. It has everything you need right on its doorstep including shops, restaurants, parks, museums and nightclubs. The hostel itself has a great atmosphere with regular on-site events, a restaurant and even a bar!
Generator is a short 10-minute walk or a quick 5-minute bike ride from our Stockholm school. You’ll find plenty of places to grab a delicious breakfast on your way to class and there are numerous affordable restaurants in the area. There are subway stations nearby too so you can travel around the city with ease.
After-hours activities
In Stockholm, you will find some of the most interesting bars in Scandinavia. When you visit them, it is not uncommon to see an EBS graduate mixing and flairing behind the bar.
The high-end cocktails culture is appreciated by the Swedes, which makes the skill level of the Stockholm bartenders very impressive. Go check it out!
Just like the aforementioned bars, Stockholm also hosts an impressive array of restaurants to check out with your new-found friends. With the city’s reputation as an international trendsetter, you will find culinary creators coming up with their own food trends.
A new “must see” pops up every month so keeping an up-to-date list is almost impossible. Just ask our school manager what is the hottest new restaurant to go to and chances are you’ll end up in a boutique restaurant with some very tasty dishes.
During spring/summertime our school likes to take our students to Gröna Lund, a popular theme park located on the seaside. This park has a little bit of everything, insane roller coasters, swing rides and a funhouse. The park is also known for its concerts, with rock and pop music from popular artists.
