Halloween is fast approaching, and that means one thing. It’s time to start planning a ghoulishly great Halloween party! This year is looking to be the year of clowns, Harley Quinn, and Stranger Things themed outfits. To make sure your guests stay longer than Barb did, we’ve created a guide on how to make the ultimate Halloween drinks for a party. Even better, they’re all easy to make! Mixed drinks, shots, punch, we’ve got all of the best Halloween cocktail recipes. Let’s get spooky with it…
Halloween Cocktail Recipes
Hosting a Halloween cocktail party needs drinks. Drinks that taste good, look spooky add an air of mystery at the same time - absinthe is a great green spirit to use aside from these cocktails.
How about some pumpkin punch and blood orange margaritas to set your party off? If you want more, we’ve thrown in a Zombie Brain shot and a Harley Quinn special for you too.
Killer Pumpkin Punch
We promise that this drink will haunt your party. We like punch, we like pumpkin. We love pumpkin punch. This pumpkin completes your outfit too.
- Cava 350ml
- Lemons x5
- Grenadine 40ml
- Pink Lemonade 200ml
- Pomegranate juice 500ml (you can substitute this for Cranberry Juice)
- Pumpkin Puree 120ml
- Sailor Jerry Rum 350ml
Method: Add all ingredients to pumpkin, finish with cava and pink lemonade
Garnish: Lemon wedges and cinnamon sticks
Want more cocktail recipes? How about a peanut butter mai-tai?
You want a Halloween drink that looks like blood? We’ve got the drink for you. Even Dracula would approve.
Blood Orange Juice 90ml
Fresh Lime Juice 25ml
Sugar Syrup 12.5ml
Method: Shake and strain with ice
Garnish: Loathsome lime wedge
Zombie Brain Shot
For when the zombie invasion comes, at least you’ll have this shot to see it out with.
Baileys 1 tsp
Grenadine 1 tsp
Peach Schnapps 30ml
Method: Pour the Schnapps into a shot glass. Then add your baileys and wait a few seconds for it to curdle. After this, add the grenadine to create a super creepy effect.
Harley Quinn Shot
We’ve taken the number one Halloween costume of the year and turned it into one of our Halloween cocktail recipes.
DeKuyper Blue Curacao 10ml
Peach Schnapps 10ml
Method: When making a layered shot, we put the heaviest liquid on the bottom. First pour your grenadine in. Then carefully add the schnapps. To avoid mixing the two, pour the schnapps in over a spoon. Finally, add the blue curacao, once again over the spoon.
To make all of our drinks and throw an unforgettable Halloween party, remember to take our list to the supermarket. You’ll need…
